So, when I was sixteen, I had my heart broken for the first time. You know how bad it sucks.
It feels like the end of the world. I had just dyed my hair jet black, I was rocking super heavy eyeliner and…yeah, I… I was convinced that I would never love a boy again.
So, that entire next week I just spent time in the studio with one of my best friends up in Vancouver working on this, “I’m over men” EP. And it was great ‘cause after it was done and recorded I felt so much better. And it’s an EP that is close to my heart and it totally describes how I was feeling at the time.
So, now that I’m a new member of Instagram, I decided as a part of throwback Thursday, the month of February, I am going to release a song from that EP every Thursday, along with a really cheese childhood photo of myself.
So this Thursday I’m releasing a song called Fly Away. It’s still a song that is super special to me and I love it and I really hope that you guys love it too.
